The way they were? The way they are? R&R?

Page Six is reporting that Reese Witherspoon and Ryan Phillippe have been spotted "shopping, jogging and lunching," though hopefully not with their former stylist, who obviously hated them, as the above photo suggests. Reese looks like a character from The Muppets here. We'll let you figure out which one.

Actually, we rather like these two. We liked Reese in her big Johnny Cash movie, Walk the Line, though she wasn't so hot in, say, Just Like Heaven. And we liked Ryan in his latest, Breach, and especially in Flags of Our Fathers, Cruel Intentions and Gosford Park, though we hated him and everyone else in Crash.
