G.I. Joe Gets the Greenlight

The folks at IGN are reporting that Paramount Pictures hasn't just greenlit the production of the new G.I. Joe movie, but they've done so to the tune of $170 million. Hell, I'd suit up for that.

Stephen Sommers is set to direct, with IGN reporting that in no way is George Clooney attached to the part, in spite of Internet rumors to the contrary.

So, who's right for G.I. Joe? Is Demi Moore available?
