Vintage Movie Trailer: Hush...Hush, Sweet Charlotte (1964)

3/17/2008 Posted by Admin

1964's "Hush...Hush, Sweet Charlotte" was a continuation of the horror movies Bette Davis made in the wake of the success of "Whatever Happened to Baby Jane?" Joan Crawford was set to star again with Davis, but after a falling out between the stars--one of many, many falling outs the two enjoyed--Olivia De Havilland stepped in for Crawford. Trouper!

The result is one of the best B-movies ever, with Agnes Moorehead, Joseph Cotten, Victor Bruno and a young Bruce Dern also starring. Let the dismemberments ensue!

For those who have seen the movie, you know the genius that awaits you. For those who haven't, enjoy the vintage trailer below--and add the movie to your Netfilx queue.

THIS is how you do Southern-fried cookin' with a side of crazy.
