What has happened to Renee Zellweger?

Here she is at the premiere of her new movie "Leatherheads," in which she co-stars opposite George Clooney, who apparently sacked her on the way to the party. Renee has an Academy Award and here, she's just as shiny as one. Perhaps shinier. You could fry an egg on that face. She looks as if she'd slip right out of your hands.

So, what's the culprit? Hot flashes? Nerves? Butter therapy? Obviously, her stylist hates her. Nobody would attend a premiere looking like that. I sort of feel bad for her. Well, not really--she makes $15 million per movie. A million of that, however, might buy some sympathy.

In the top photo, you know by the look on her face that she knows she's a mess. Those eyes, that twisted mouth, say, "I know, it's awful--and I'm sorry."

So are we, Renee. Blot.
