BLINDNESS: First 5 Minutes

Miramax has released the first five minutes of Blindness, which you can view below.  Currently, the movie is causing all sorts of controversy with the blind, who are furious about the film for reasons you can simply Google about.

But as for those first 5 minutes.....well, I'm not impressed.  The young man who goes blind is a little too calm about the whole thing, isn't he?  I mean, if I went blind, there'd at least be some scratching and clawing involved.  Screaming, also.  Somebody would get punched.  But no.  This guy is bewildered and then oddly patient.  And really, he's pretty stupid, as you'll note toward the end of the clip.  Umm...hello!  You're blind!  Get some help!
