Confirmed: Wii to Start Streaming Netflix Movies

Move over XBox 360. It's just been confirmed that the Wii is next in line to start streaming Netflix movies. The move will happen by Christmas, which is just behind the Playstation 3, which will start streaming Netflix movies this November. Can you say cash cow for Netflix? Beyond that, here's a question--will Wii users rent exercise videos to go with their Wii fit? Just a thought....

Beyond that, it appears as if soon a Wii HD will hit markets next year. That's a rumor for now, but a mere scan of the Interwebs suggests it's a solid one, with images of the Wii 2 not every difficult to find. It's slimmer and lighter, just like the folks it's been appealing to since the Wii Fit was first announced.
