MAJOR GIVEAWAY: Apple iMac 27-Inch 3.06GHz!

We've given you the teases--now it's time to give you a chance to win the real thing. The next major giveaway at WeekinRewind.com is the new Apple iMac 27-inch 3.06 GHz. And playing to win couldn't be easier.
I could tell you all about the new iMac here, but the below video from Apple does a fine job of that (you must view it--the machine is amazing!).
So, let's get to the meat of how to play.
Since this is a $1,700 giveaway, playing will change over the following weeks until we give the iMac away on March 13, 2010 (my birthday!). Look for weekly updates that will keep the contest interesting.
Here are the key elements you MUST do in order to win. Since we don't want to spend $1,700 on those who aren't a member of the site and actively visiting it and commenting on the daily posts, make sure you sign up for one of the following two options and participate in the conversation:
Subscribe to our feed here.
Receive email updates here.
You must remain a member of the site to win. If your name is chosen and you're not signed up, you won't win. Make sure you comment on this post that you are a member; we'll check and, if you are, you're good to go.
After you've done this, the first round of playing is simple.
See the little lavender "Share" button in the upper right of this screen? That's a Facebook share button. Clicking on it will share this contest with your friends. Given how popular this contest will be, the number should go through the roof--we'll be looking for that to happen. So, just share on Facebook, let me know you did so by posting a comment on this page, we'll check--and you'll be entered to win. You can share as often as you like, just let me know in the comments section how often you shared the link (daily?), and we'll check.
That's it until next week, when we shift it up another notch.

I did not realize asking questions constituted negativity. When asking them I never used snotty, curt, condescending, nor mean-spirited language. I wasn't aware how I did phrase them warranted such a rude and vulgar response. Should I have instead simply praised your generosity or thanked you for the opportunity as many others have? It IS a very generous, very nice offer, and I do appreciate the time and effort you've put forth to do this; the absence of such a comment did not mean I implicitly thought the contrary. I'm sorry you seem to have taken it that way.
I realize it's your contest to run how ever you please. You have no obligation to cater to everyone's whims and desires. But with other giveaways you have offered alternatives that didn't require accounts at these social networking sites; I was hoping/wondering if you might do that here, so I inquired about it. I have no inherent problem with those sites, but I have neither the need nor desire to interact with them. I do not want to share my information nor waste my time, the sites' administrators' time, and their resources creating accounts I will not use.
