"Dexter" star, Michael C. Hall, is undergoing treatment for Hodgkin's lymphoma. In a statement released Wednesday, Hall said he was fortunate to be diagnosed with a "treatable and curable condition." Craig Bankey, a spokesman for Hall, tells us that the cancer is in complete remission and Hall's treatment will continue as planned.

Hall has kept a positive outlook throughout his treatment and and thanks his nurses and doctors for their expertise and care.

Thankfully, cancer will not keep him from enjoying his success as he plans to attend Sunday's Golden Globes and the upcoming Screen Actor's Guild Awards with his wife and co-star, Jennifer Carpenter. For his performance on "Dexter" as a sociopathic blood-spatter analysis moonlighting as a vigilante serial killer, he is a nominee at both award shows.

He plans on continuing his role on "Dexter" in its fifth season, which will begin production later this year.

Scared me for a second there.
I't great that his cancer is curable, and looks like season 5 of Dexter is still on track for Sept.
I love the show and the season 4 finale of Dexter is my personal 2009 TV episode of the year.

Sending good thoughts to him and his family.
Never mind season 5. I like Dexter as well as the next person. His health matters more.
