Michael Angarano ("Forbidden Kingdom," "Lords of Dogtown") is in negotiations to join "Knockout," Steven Soderbergh's revenge spy movie with an all-star cast for Relativity says the Hollywood Reporter.

According to THR: Angarano will join the Lem Dobbs' scripted story that centers on a spy (mixed martial artist Gina Carano) who works for a Blackwater-style security contractor and is betrayed by one of her teammates.

Angarano will play a teen that sees Carano in trouble and decides to help, unwittingly ending up as her partner.

Michael Douglas, Michael Fassbender, Channing Tatum, Antonio Banderas, Ewan McGregor and Dennis Quaid also star in the $25 million production. Tatum, who will train with a Mossad agent in preparation for the part, will play one of the agents in her spy cell.

The movie will take advantage of tax incentives and rebates in Spain and Ireland to make the most of its $25 million budget.

Angarano, who appeared in David Gordon Green's "Snow Angels," recently wrapped production on Max Winkler's romantic comedy "Ceremony" with Uma Thurman.

The cast of this film just keeps growing with quality talent, and I think Angarano is perfect for the role he is playing.

The film begins shooting next month in Spain and Ireland.
