Product description: "This April, Sean Bean (Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring, Golden Eye) returns as Lieutenant Colonel Richard Sharpe in the new BBC action adventure DVD and Blu-ray release Sharpe's Peril. Based on Bernard Cornwell's novels, the latest installment from the BAFTA Award-winning series premieres on PBS's Masterpiece Classic April 4, 2010. Continuing where Sharpe's Challenge ended, Sharpe (Bean) and Sergeant Major Patrick Harper (Daragh O'Malley, Wire in the Blood, Waking the Dead) travel across India towards Calcutta where they are due to take the ship to England. While escorting the beautiful Marie-Angelique Bonnett (Beatrice Rosen, The Dark Knight, Charmed) to meet her fiancé, they inadvertently discover a massive opium trafficking ring run by the traitorous Colonel Dragomirov (Velibor Topic, Breaking and Entering) from the East India Trading Company. Sharpe's Peril boasts the new swashbuckling adventure along with over two hours of special features including a making of featurette, photo gallery and more."
