Neil Patrick Harris Prepares For Fatherhood
Like most parents before their child arrives, Neil Patrick Harris is trying to read as much about kids as possible so as to be prepared for his new family additions with his partner David Burtka.
"I'm trying to read as much as I can, and prep as much as I can," Harris, 37, told Ryan Seacrest before Sunday's Emmy Awards. "But there's only so much you can do because each baby is super individual and totally their own person."
"[I'm] very, very excited," the two-time Emmy winner said. "It's the big, crazy calm before the ridiculous storm."
What do you think? Will Harris and Burtka be good parents?

There's no reason NPH and DB would not make great parents. Why not? The biggest hurdles are the media and show business and everyone’s preconceived notions, but many successful entertainers have been great parents despite all of the expectations to fail. You have to remember that actors are just that, actors. They have a job playing a character and with good actors, they are not really that character. (Less accomplished actors simply portray themselves under an assumed name for the part.) Heck, I think Dr. Horrible would make a great, loving father. (None of the Dr. Evil—Scott Evil dynamics of the Austin Powers series.) Moreover, we know only what we see on the screen and read in the tabloids. NPH and DB are much more than how we conceive or misconceive them. So, after babbling on and on, absolutely, why not!
