Box Office is In: Heartbreak Kid a Loser; The Game Plan a Winner

“The Heartbreak Kid” broke its own heart this weekend, coming through with a mere $14 million take at the box office, not enough to secure it the top spot. Once again, that went to Disney's "The Game Plan," which earned $16.3 million." So far, the movie has made an impressive $42.8 million.

Universal’s rotten movie, “The Kingdom,” made $9.3 milion. So far, the stinker has made $31.4 million. Surprise, surprise.

“The Seeker: Dark is Rising” fell into its own dark hole, with apparently nobody seeking it out. The movie is a huge disappointment for Fox-Walden, grossing only $3.7 million.

In limited release, "Feel the Noise" found something to bump and grind about--it grossed $3.4 million at 1,015 theaters.
