WATCH: Push

The synopsis for the upcoming action-thriller "Push," which opens wide on February 6, 2009, and which stars Dakota Fanning and Chris Evans, goes like this:

Synopsis:  "A riveting action-thriller, "Push" burrows deep into the deadly world of psychic espionage where artificially enhanced paranormal operatives have the ability to move objects with their minds, see the future, create new realities and kill without ever touching their victims.  Against this setting, a young man and a teenage girl take on a clandestine agency in a race against time that will determine the future of civilization."

Do note that the clip below opens with Evans plays craps.  Pretty much says it all for what we might be expecting, at least based on the trailer.  I'm sorry, but when Evans uses his (*cough*) mind to raise those guns, the special effect is about as great as the bats in Tod Browning's original "Dracula."

Good cast, though, so who knows?
