Nominated for multiple Emmy® Awards, the ground-breaking docu-series returns following the tragic death of fan-favorite Flower when leadership of the Whiskers clan is assumed by her daughter Rocket Dog. Emmy winner and Oscar nominee Stockard Channing (“The West Wing,” Must Love Dogs) narrates the next chapter in the Whiskers family’s struggle for dominance and survival in the Kalalhari Desert. One of Animal Planet’s all-time favorite series, “Meerkat Manor” is filmed using state of the art camera technology above and below ground. By tracking the group’s movements 24 hours a day, the beloved series paints a dramatic picture of the Whiskers’ highly complex and social lives, conveying an archetypal tale of family feuds and fierce factions that threaten to destroy the clan. Featuring behind the scenes footage, the two-disc “Meerkat Manor” Season 4: The Next Generation DVD set will be housed in eco-friendly packaging made from recycled materials.

While I'm a fan of this show, I am amazed they've gotten 4 seasons of this already. Not many new "reality" shows go 4 seasons. Way to go!
