Below is the trailer for the upcoming Russell Crowe/Ben Affleck/Helen Mirren thriller "State of Play," which opens wide April 17, 2009.
Great cast, which looks as if that element is going to prove essential since the trailer and the film's release date (April is a dumping ground for Hollywood) suggest little more than a genre movie. There's very much a been-there, seen-that vibe about the trailer. Check it out:

AGREED, does look like a been here seen it vibe. Strangely doesn't look like was very well executed. Contract film it appears for some of cast.

Can't wait to see this! I'm so glad Crowe replaced Brad Pitt!
