Oscar Nominations tomorrow
Tomorrow is it for film fans--or at least the first step of "it," with the "it" being the Academy Awards. By the morning, we'll know the list of nominees, all of which will be posted here. So, stay tuned.
In the meantime, let us know in the comments section what your favorite movie of 2008 was. For me? The Dark Knight and Milk. Look for Slumdog Millionaire, Frost/Nixon and The Curious Case of Benjamin Button to join them in being nominated.
Other observations....
Kate Winslet will win her first award this year, preferably for Revolutionary Road over The Reader. But I'll take either--Kate must win.
Heath Ledger will win for The Dark Knight, and he deserves to win.
Mickey Rourke, Sean Penn and Frank Langella are going to duke it out for Best Actor. I'm thinking Rourke, but won't say for sure until my Academy Awards piece runs. Will Clint Eastwood be nominated for Gran Torino? Will Richard Jenkins get a nod for The Visitor?
Wall-E obviously will win the Academy Award for Best Animated Film. And it was a good year for animated films.
What was your favorite film of 2008?? Who deserves to be nominated?? Discuss in the comments section!

Well I really enjoyed the Dark Knight, I thought Heath Ledger did an excellent job in that part. I also enjoyed Sex and the City, I know I know but hey it's a chick flick, and well I'm a chick. I didn' get to see to many as I was going through breast cancer treatment but I WILL catch up.

I hope Sex and the City gave you the laugh you deserve! And I hope you're well now.
