YouTube Screening Room: Celebrating Black History Month
While I'd never recommend watching a movie on your computer, regardless of how swell computer screens are becoming and how great your sound system might be (my Bose speakers kick ass!), the movement has long been upon us, with YouTube jumping into to the fray last June with the YouTube Screening Room.
Have you heard about it? If not, check it out. In honor of Black History Month, they are showing several worthwhile films worth a look--on a computer or not.
And the best part? Unlike Netflix, it's free. Since Grey Goose is the sponsor, make yourself a martini and enjoy.
Check out the site here.

I'm glad YouTube is doing its part to celebrate Black History - education is key, even if it is sponsored by vodka.
Here's another video that YouTube should add to their lineup: http://theharperstudio.com/2009/01/barack-obama-on-the-shoulders-of-thurgood-marshall/
Gilbert King is writing a book on young Thurgood Marshall, and did a short video about Marshall and Barack Obama's inauguration. We can definitely thank Black history for getting us where we are today. Cheers!
