CONTEST: What DVDs or Blu-ray Discs Would You Buy if You Were Given $100?
We won't Spam you. We'll just send you occasional emails about what you might have missed at WeekinRewind. You'll receive information on what's new on DVD or what's new in our DVD giveaways. That sort of thing. It's totally opt-in. And it's in that Newsletter that I'm featuring our next major giveaway.
In case you've missed it, here's the question: What DVDs or Blu-ray discs would you buy if you were given $100?
Everything you'd want to buy you'd need to buy at Amazon, but what would you get?
You can get as many products as you like as long as they total $100 or less.
As I noted before, we're using Amazon's DVD Shop as a guide (they have pretty much everything). Click the previous link to compose your list, come back here to leave a comment on this page in which you include your list (as others have--and all of those entries count), send the list to weekinrewind@aol.com, and we'll pick the winner from that list.
And then someone will win--just in time for the holidays.
Good luck!
Christopher

The Lord of the Rings: The Motion Picture Trilogy DVD extended Edition $70; Carry on Nurse $20); Return of the King - animated version ~$7
The animated Return of the King has a funny "Where There's a Whip .... There's a Way" song I remember from when my kids were little. The Carry On series was a hilarious set of about 30 movies from the UK in the 50s and 60s that my brothers and I watched on TV as teens. And of courst I'd like the full set of the Lord of The Rings series.
October 23, 2009 at 2:20 PM

It's so terribly expensive... that it only leaves room for one more thing:
Either:
2) Jeeves and Wooster (the complete series)
Or maybe:
3) The Office (UK) - The complete first series
Also, any combination of the above/following that doesn't exceed $100:
Torchwood
A Bit of Fry and Laurie
Spaced
Garth Marenghi's Darkplace
The Mighty Boosh
Yeah, I love my British series. ;)
Firefly and Serenity!
The collector's edition of Coraline
