When Scudder is mysteriously killed in Hannay's apartment, Hannay finds himself accused of murder and is now caught up in a deadly conspiracy that not only threatens his life, but the safety of the nation.Premiering on MASTERPIECE CLASSIC on PBS on February 28, this spellbinding production boasts a remarkable ensemble cast including Rupert Penry-Jones (MI-5, Persuasion), Lydia Leonard (The Line of Beauty, Rome), David Haig (My Boy Jack, Two Weeks Notice), Patrick Malahide (Brideshead Revisited, Sensitive Skin) and Eddie Marsan (Sherlock Holmes, Little Dorrit, Happy-Go-Lucky)."
