"A Nightmare on Elm Street" Movie Trailer Review
"A Nightmare on Elm Street"

If you grew up in the 1980s, there are not many things that would scare you more than Freddy Kruger. What makes him so scary? Here's a clue--he has a glove made of razors and brutally murders promiscuous teens in their dreams.
Judging by the trailer, the new Nightmare may have what it takes--a fresh and frightening reimagining of a horror classic. And if there is anyone that can step into Robert Englund’s shoes, it is none other than Jackie Earle Haley.
Exploring his recent films--Haley stole the show with his demanding portrayal of Rorschach in last year’s "Watchmen," he was a pedophile in 2006’s "Little Children," and recently he was a broken prisoner in "Shutter Island"--Haley brings an uneasy and terrifying aura to all of his characters and he may just transcend Freddy to a new and horrifying place that we never have experienced.
When the film hits theaters April 30, 2010, prepare to lose sleep.

I loved Jackie's performance as Rorschach in Watchmen.
Will definitely check this out.
