TRAILER: Fly Me to the Moon

8/05/2008 Posted by Admin

At first glance, more like "Fly Me The Hell Out of This Movie."

Is it just me, or is the animation seriously lacking here? Summit Entertainment's "Fly Me to The Moon" is being touted as the first-ever animated movie shot in 3-D, but as with any film, what matters first is the story and, at least in this case, the animation.

So! Let's hope the story is there, because the animation looks ironically flat.

The film opens wide August 15. Check out the trailer below and judge for yourself.

How can you judge a movie without seeing it in full 3-D. I saw it in january this year. yes i did. Belgium is not that small. The trailer in normal viewing is far away from the movie on big screen in 3-D. Or, perhaps the way you "demolish" this exquisit animation, is because it was directed by an non Americain citizen. By the way, the director is one of the best clip creator in the world. Shame on you. This movie is a VERY GOOD one. Don't push away the kids by telling wrong things.

Read the post again, Michcine. I'm solely remarking on the trailer. That's it. And the trailer DOES NOT impress.

Okay Christopher. thanks for your answer. but you still dont' tell beside the trailer, if you have see the entire movie in 3-D.
    There's a big difference between a trailer in 2-D and a big 3-D screen.
But, okay, everyone can have his own opinion, but it's a pitty, if kids read your comment, should think it's a bad movie. As to my concern, it is a great 3-D. And this should help nowaday's kids remembering one of the biggest event. (Sorry for the english, I'm french speaking) Go on Rotton tomatoes.....they all loved it!.

    regards.
    Luv' your site.
