WATCH: New Star Trek Trailer

Just released from Paramount is the new trailer for JJ Abrams' Star Trek, which opens wide May 8, 2009.

In the trailer, we learn that this is an origins story, which certainly didn't hurt Christopher Nolan with "Batman Begins." In the clips, he hear about James Kirk’s father, and then it's revealed how his son becomes the captain of the Enterprise.
