Product description: "In June 1979 Pete Townshend gave a solo acoustic performance at Amnesty International’s Secret Policeman’s Ball benefit show in London, inspiring other musicians — including Eric Clapton, Jeff Beck, David Gilmour, Sting, Bob Geldof and Phil Collins — to perform for Amnesty in subsequent Balls. It also galvanized a generation of musicians to become involved in social and political causes. Sting, Peter Gabriel, Bob Geldof and Bono all cite the show as the catalyst for their activism — just four years after performing at his first-ever benefit, Geldof organized Live Aid.
To celebrate the 30th anniversary of that historic first show, Amnesty asked Secret Policeman’s Ball co-creator/producer Martin Lewis — who had recruited Townshend, Sting, Beck, Clapton, Collins and Geldof — to compile this anniversary special with some of the finest rock performances given for Amnesty over the years.
The DVD also includes "The Secret Policeman's Private Files," a new, specially-created 80-minute bonus feature that includes rare archival footage featuring musicians: Sting, Bono, Bruce Springsteen, Peter Gabriel, Bob Geldof, Eric Clapton, Phil Collins, Jackson Browne, Joan Armatrading, Bryan Adams, Tracy Chapman as well as supporters from the acting world: Robert DeNiro, Michael J. Fox, Kevin Bacon, Pam Grier, Christopher Reeve, Elliott Gould, Richard Belzer."

Wow. I would love to win this DVD especially since it sounds like there are so many great performances featured on it. I really hope I get the chance to see the performances on it. This is a great giveaway. Thanks.
