DJ Pauly D Gets a TV Series. Yeah, Another One.

Hmm, yeah, so it seems like American audiences can’t get enough of “Jersey Shore” star Paul “DJ Pauly D” Delvecchio. At least, that’s if a recent business deal made by MTV is any indication.

Deadline reports that the network has recently picked up a new series that will give viewers a look at the lifestyle of “DJ Pauly D” when he’s not partying it up at the Jersey Shore. We can only imagine that episodes will involve Pauly purchasing tanning beds, trying out hair gels, snapping photos of himself for "blue" sites and trying to convince his parents that he’s not taking steroids.

Oh, and if you didn’t catch the news earlier this month, JWoww is “writing” a book. And, after appearing on “Dancing With the Stars,” Mike “The Situation” has told the press that he’d like to work his way into the world of movies.

Remember that recent “South Park” episode in which the entire state of New Jersey threatened to take over the world? Man, who knew that Trey Parker and Matt Stone could tell the future?

Sadly, if the ratings for “Jersey Shore” tell us anything, it’s that there is an audience who will gladly welcome for of Mr. Delvecchio. However, it’s tough to imagine that he can carry his own series without his fellow train-wrecks to add to the entertainment value. Can he survive without the comic relief of Snooki? We have our doubts…
