Clegg takes Compo and Seymour on a sentimental journey to re-create the times when his old school chums would walk gates and climb trees together. Also, Compo willingly agrees to "road-test" Seymour's new concept of a gentleman's purse (especially as there will be real money provided in it), and Edie's days of carrying a heavy dustbin are numbered when Seymour decides to install a new waste disposal unit for her.
