Trent Reznor Might Compose Pretty Hate Music for "Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter"

Fresh off winning an Oscar for his score for David Fincher's The Social Network (and fulfilling the dreams of people everywhere who hoped to one day see the words "Academy Award winner Trent Reznor"), it seems that Trent Reznor may already have landed his next big film project. According to EW, a spokesperson for 20th Century Fox has confirmed that Reznor is in talks to score Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter.
But wait, there's more.
Not content to merely have Reznor make creepy tonal music for the film, Fox is courting the gloomy rockstar to play Jack Barts, the vampire who kills Lincoln's mother and forces him to become not just one of America's greatest presidents, but also one of its greatest vampire hunters. Or only vampire hunters. Or something. Fox doesn't seem to mind that Reznor has little to no acting experience, with the economy as tight as it is they're probably just happy to save on make-up costs since Reznor already looks like a vampire anyway.
This isn't the only major film project that Reznor is involved in at the moment, since Fincher asked Reznor to compose the score for his adaptation of The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo. All in all, it looks like Reznor's got quite the year ahead of him.
