"Crazies" Producer to Cast Galifianakis as Exorcist in "Miracle Workers"

Ryan Rotten of ShockTillYouDrop.com reports that he spoke with “The Crazies” producer Michael Aguiler, and learned that Aguiler has a script called “Miracle Workers” to which Zach Galifianakis is reportedly attached.

The story is a “supernatural buddy comedy” in which Galifianakis’ character pretends to be an exorcist and is, of course, eventually faced with some real-life demons.

Aguiler reportedly said a director has yet to be announced.

We’re long overdue for a good exorcism film--perhaps making “Miracle Workers” partly comedic will be just what the sub-genre needs to revive itself for the 21st century.
