Not so Forbidden Kingdom. It's #1

Here's a surprise--the Jackie Chan/Jet Li action movie "Forbidden Kingdom" apparently has snuffed "Forgetting Sarah Marshall" in the race for the weekend box-office. Though final numbers will be released later today, all signs are suggeting a win for "Forbidden Kingdom."

This just makes sense. After a fall and winter's worth of heavier fare mixed in with a lot of crap, audiences are hungry for the action films of the summer. Why wait when there one now in theaters with A-list action stars?

Clearly, people didn't wait. "Forgetting Sarah Marshall" likely will be the weekend's #2 film.
