What did you think of The Dark Knight?

So here it is: The best superhero movie ever.

The Dark Knight deftly accomplishes all one could hope for, and then it surpasses it, and then it continues to surprise. The movie isn't just a triumph, it is that rare pop-culture oddity: A masterpiece.

Anyone who enters the theater with great expectations would leave the theater without the desire of doing so, wanting desperately to watch it a second time, a third time, or even more, with the stark realization that the word "great" in one's expectations earlier is SORELY inadequate!

Nothing short of a masterpiece. This film has set the bar for many things, superhero or not. I can imagine that the hearts many of the filmmakers coming up with superhero flicks in the future sank upon seeing this film - that's a very very tough act to follow.

What worries me is that even the cast and crew of TDK themselves might find it a hard act to follow.

I think it's time for a superhero movie to receive an Oscar. Heath should be a nominee too!

WOW! was the feeling I had as leaving the theatre. This movie just touched all kinds of emotions when it comes to the conflict of good vs. evil in our society; the concept was brought to reality in a way that we could relate! And it was no "joke" (HA! HA! HA! HA!) that Heath Ledger's role as The Joker was nothing less than FANTASTIC!!
