Yes, they're a couple. Yes, they're a great-looking couple. And, yes, Ryan's pants don't lie.  Here they are, Ryan Gosling and Michelle Williams, at Cannes for the premier of their new film, "Blue Valentine." Since neither has looked better, there's only one question here--who's hotter.

You know you want one of them.  Let us know below.

If you watched the "American Idol" finale, you saw Janet Jackson's latest look--but what do you think of it?  She's been bold before, but never this bold.  How would you rate her new look?  In the poll below, let us know what  you think.

She's been around forever, but Grace Jones still can bring it, even if she looks like a hot mess while bringing what she brings--which is questionable, to say the least. But how old is she? No cheating through Google--just take a chance at the poll below. Ms. Jones real age will be revealed tomorrow.

With Robert Zemeckis' A Christmas Carol about to be released for the holiday season, a new question arises: When it comes to the award for Best Animated Film, the Academy now has more than enough movies this year to allow for five films to compete on the ballot.

Naturally, they don't have to do anything they don't want to do, as they note themselves in their own rules:

All submissions sent to the Academy will be screened by the Animated Feature Film Award Screening Committee(s). After the screenings, the committee(s) will vote by secret ballot to nominate from 3 to 5 motion pictures for this award. In any year in which 8 to 15 animated features are released in Los Angeles County, a maximum of 3 motion pictures may be nominated. In any year in which 16 or more animated features are submitted and accepted in the category, a maximum of 5 motion pictures may be nominated.

So, this year has seen sixteen animated features, which left me wondering. Who will be nominated?

I have a pretty good idea, as I bet you do. Still, then I thought, let's put it to the people in the poll below. Just select five of those films you think have a shot of being nominated. It will be interesting to see if those with the most scores actually do get nominated--and from that list, which one will actually win.

Time for a poll. We do this often at WeekinRewind.com, but only for the major blockbusters--and this one certainly will be. But what did you think of the movie? Did it live up to your expectations? Or was it just all hype over these past long months?

Let people know what you thought in the comments section, and also in the handy poll below.

By the way, I hated it. Full review coming shortly.

Will Mickey Rourke do it? Will he turn it around and score an Academy Award nomination? He's been generating buzz aplenty for his performance in Darren Aronofsky's "The Wrestler," and if there's any genre that can lift a dead career, it's the sports genre.

But beyond that and how much Hollywood loves a comeback (never underestimate that--it's ratings gold), check out the many clips below to see just how good he appears to be in this movie, and just how good the movie itself looks.

I'm watching the film tonight at home in preparation for voting for the Broadcast Film Critics' Critics Choice Awards, which are the season's first major awards show. For those who are interested, it airs on VH1 on January 8, 2009.

I'll be reviewing the movie soon; in the meantime, check out footage of the film below:

Well, you have to give it up for Beyonce, at least in these scenes from the Dec. 5, 2008 release of Cadillac Records. Nobody ever will compare to Etta James (how could they?), but Beyonce surprises in how well she captures her. She's going all Diana Ross on us!

Check out the R-rated version of her singing "Church Bells" below:
