WATCH/POLL: Beyonce as Etta James Singing Church Bells

Well, you have to give it up for Beyonce, at least in these scenes from the Dec. 5, 2008 release of Cadillac Records. Nobody ever will compare to Etta James (how could they?), but Beyonce surprises in how well she captures her. She's going all Diana Ross on us!

I like what I saw of Beyonce's acting and singing but she is not convincing as Etta James. She looks like Keysha Cole and sounds like Beyonce. Not convincing.
